The Monumental Complex is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except Sunday, which follows the opening hours of 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Last admission ALWAYS 30 minutes before closing time.

Admission to the Majolica Cloister has different fees;

Tariffa intera 7,00€;

Tariffa Ridotta 5,00€, per insegnati, studenti universitari under 30, over 65. Tutti dovranno esibire un documento che attesti la propria appartenenza;

Tariffa Speciale 4,00€ minori dai 7 ai 17 anni, gruppi scuola;

The 100% disabled with accompanying person will have free admission, including the accompanying person.

Disabled persons up to 65% are entitled to the Reduced Fare, while the accompanying person will be entitled to the FULL Fare 

The Basilica of St. Clare follows different schedules from those of the Cloisters.

Open from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission to the Basilica is free.

The St. Clare Complex has no form of collaboration.

The Cloister of Santa Chiara is accessible from Via Santa Chiara 49C, 80134 Naples, a short walk from Piazza del Gesù and Via Benedetto Croce better known as "Spaccanapoli," in the heart of the historic center.

The Monumental Complex is within the "ZTL" zone, to reach us by transportation we recommend:

Metro Line 1: Dante or University stop

Metro Line 2: Cavour Stop

There are also authorized "ZTL" parking lots and a cab stand in Jesus Square.

In addition to the Majolica Cloister (the only one of the four present that can be visited) , it is possible to visit:

the Opera Museum, where there are remains of the ancient Basilica bombed during World War II;

the ' Archaeological Area, where there are Roman baths, discovered during the restoration work of the Monumental Complex;

the Nativity of the 1700s;

the Library, with ancient conventual artifacts and writings preserved in special display cases;

the Video Room that will tell you the story of the complex before and after the bombing during World War II, with a video lasting about 15 minutes ;

There is no specific duration; you are free to roam around the complex. The recommended duration, for better organization of one's trip, is about 40 minutes.

Tours with one of our guides should be booked at least 10 days in advance and with a number of people from 25 and up.

Visiting the Cloisters is free, but the complex provides a free audio guide that can be downloaded via QR CODE to your smartphone.

From the audio guide, in addition to listening to the various visitable sections of the complex, it will also be possible to hear the explanation of areas closed to the public and get a glimpse of the environments through 360 augmented reality.

Inside the Complex it is safely possible to take photos or videos for private use, but not for sponsoring products or advertising.

In addition, tripods or drones cannot be used.

Small animals are allowed but only in the owner's arms or inside their carriers.

The only large animals allowed are companion dogs.

The Monumental Complex of St. Clare together with the Basilica, are owned by the Ministry of the Interior (Worship Buildings Fund). 

The same are externally bordered by a road strip surrounded by walls where flower beds and areas used as children's and dog playgrounds are included, pertaining to the City of Naples, which has direct management of them.
